Molly Haskell

Personal Statement:
Hi! Margaret Haskell is my full name, but everyone calls me Molly. I'm a member of the 2024 graduating class from Charlotte Catholic High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. I play club hockey for Charlotte Ambush, I play on U19 Elite. My indoor team won our NIT bracket in 2020, and I have played on many successful Ambush tournament and Indoor teams.

I am a multi-year varsity starter, two time All Conference selection, Second team All-State in 2022, recognized in the Charlotte Observer's All - Charlotte team 2022, and USA Field Hockey Nexus Region 8 U16 Regional Selection Camp 2022 invitee. I want to keep improving at field hockey and eventually play in college. I will work hard to do well in college and am thinking about going into sports psychology, teaching, or business.

I am persistent, competitive, and enthusiastic. Coaches and team members describe me as a natural leader, and I feel passionate about field hockey. I worked as am intern for Charlotte Ambush and coached field hockey coach in a camp for younger girls this summer and really enjoyed teaching the younger players and passing on my love of the game. I played competitive soccer for pretty much my whole life and it wasnt until I played indoor field hockey for the first time that I realized that I wanted to pursue playing field hockey in college. I look forward to what the future holds and hope you consider me to be on your team!
